2013 Renault Sandero Stepway is a SUV which company had showcased today at Paris motor show. It is based on Renault Logan and Renault Sandero hatchback. The SUV like other models will also be sold under DACIA brand in few countries. The SUV has exterior changes as the 2013 Sandero hatchback namely, new bumper, grille and roof rails. Like its predecessor, the new 2013 Sandero Stepway sports 16-inch wheels, a protective plastic bodywork and increased ground clearance of 40 mm.
Significant changes have been made in car interior. It has a new front with a different instrument panels, revised center console, color screen multimedia system, redesigned steering wheel and new front seat. The trunk has a volume of 320 liters which is identical to model it replaces. The rear seats can be folded in a 60/40 ratio. Top end Sandero Stepway offers a 7 inch MEDIA NAV screen which can control the navigation system, radio, Bluetooth, USB devices, air conditioning, cruise control and rear parking sensors.
Two engines are currently in offer for the SUV. A 900cc (0.9 liter) turbocharged three cylinder gasoline engine developing 90 hp and 1.5 liter four cylinder diesel engine with an output of 90 hp. The average consumption of fuel of the gasoline engine is 5.4 l/100 km, while the Diesel is 4.0 l/100 km.
